Key guidelines to follow during board exam mentioned by NEB

- Students must reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the exam. Students who arrive 15 minutes after the start of the exam will not be allowed to participate in the class 12 exam.
- According to the scheduled exam program, there will be no provision for rearranging the exam for absent students.
- In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, like public holidays, the exam will not be postponed without prior notice from the examination control office.
- Students themselves must bring the necessary materials for the exam, such as graph paper, charts, protractors, bank cash books, a log table, and similar items.
- According to the new curriculum, students taking the biology exam will need to use a single answer sheet for both botany and zoology subjects. The exam centre cannot be changed.
- The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices is strictly prohibited during the exam.
- Information about students who have taken exams in more than one subject on the same day must be reported to the board’s regional/branch office or the examination control office within 15 days of the publication of this class 12 routine.
- Grade increments will start with registration numbers 78, 79, and 80 for general/traditional students (and for regular students participating in the new course). Other grade increment students (with registration numbers starting from 76 and 77) will take exams based on the old course.
- Technical students (with registration numbers starting from 79 and 80) participating in the new technical course (and other grade increment students with registration numbers starting from 76, 77, and 78) will take exams based on the old technical course.
- Since the curriculum and specialization table for compulsory mathematics (0081) and optional mathematics (4021) have been updated, regular students will take exams according to the same procedure.
Our suggestions for class 12 students for NEB board exam

- Subject-wise Schedule: The schedule outlines the timing and dates for every subject. To avoid misunderstandings, students should carefully analyze this schedule and make appropriate plans for their study periods.
- Gaps between Exams: Be mindful of the intervals that separate subsequent tests. These pauses provide excellent time for last-minute planning and review. Performance can be greatly impacted by making efficient use of these periods.
- Get used to examination duration: The test schedule is quite specific about the beginning and ending timings for every paper. Pupils are required to rigorously follow these times to prevent issues or consequences by taking the mock test at least twice for each subject; otherwise, it will be very hard to manage the timings in the exams, which will result in the omission of the very well-known easy questions that are at the end of the exam paper.
